I wanted to share a few other favorites that didn't make my portfolio with the theme of looking up. Why look up?  well you see the sun rush through trees.  And as a photographer, I get to break rules.  The combination of both results in very unexpected things. Here are some of my recent pix taken by simply looking up and finding the right angles, light, and composition.
For those of you familiar with Portland Oregon, this was taken on the East Side of the Willamette River near the Hawthorne bridge. As it turns out another bridge was out of commission as they were filming the season ending episode of the TV show "Leverage" and they needed to put the bridge up to digitally put in a car chase. Look for it this fall. See some of my other favorite pix of that day.
